Boris buys water cannons preparing for the "summer of discontent".

Press reports are that Boris Johnson, Tory toff Mayor of London has purchased three water cannons for use by the Metropolitan Police.
When everyone is being told to cut back, £218,000 has been spent on three water cannons which are being purchased from the German Federal Police.
These will be given to the Metrpolitan Police, "in case of disorder this summer". Although the water cannons have been purchased, the Home Secretary, Theresa May, has not authorised their use.
