Poor Antifa showing in Brighton

Bit of a viewpoint from Brighton's anti-MFE demo. I was very disappointed, not with the numbers of Antifascists but with the fact many of them lacked the bottle to take on MFE and seemed more interested in throwing things at the police.
Case in point, when me and maybe a dozen - 15/16 other Antifascists confronted a small number of 6 or 7 MFE thugs near the bus station. As soon as the MFE thugs ran at us, the majority of the antifascists with our group wanted nothing to do with it.
Most actually ran away! I think 3 or 4 (as well as myself) actually stood to fight with the rest running away down an alley. It was disgraceful, they should have stood toe to toe with us, not legged it like cowards.
Don't get me wrong, we got some good punches in. One MFE went home with a bloody nose but those cowards left us to frankly, get the crap beat out of us. I'm organising a fundraiser for one lad who travelled up from London with me and has ended up having to take time off work due to a broken jaw sustained in the brawl. An injury that WOULD NOT have happened if Antifascists actually stood their ground.
Now, in my opinion, there are too many uppity, liberal, wet-behind-the-ears student types who just can't fight making their way to these events. If they want to protest the fash, fine. Do so with the UAF and their peaceful protests. Leave the actual confrontations to those of us with some bottle.
When they run leaving their fellow antifascists in the dust to get attacked. That's just cowardly. We'd be better off without the cowardly student types showing up for the chance to ruck with the police.
