Why is Poland a Nazi Client State?
Internationalist Observer | 15.03.2014 15:48 | Analysis | Anti-militarism | History | World
When the fever curve of the European regime crisis peaked this week with North American military provocations in Poland, it was a remarkable sign to all who care about the dying empire and its deluded followers. At the same time, France announced its campaign to proliferate atomic reactors of the MOX type which leave bomb-grade waste, North American military provocations in East Asia were stomping up a black hole of propaganda detracting the region just as much as the European propaganda war against Ukraine did there, and the state of Israel committed suicide by sacrificing the last remnants of Theodore Herzl´s „Separate Houses“ Doctrine to an assumed primacy of the casern over the temple. What happened in Poland was the high water mark of a worldwide imperialist death surge by which the collapse-prone system is desperately attempting to include all these who have declared independence of it into its demise. Seen from Britain, where this analysis is published with a bow to the grave of Karl Marx, it also is the explanation why the „Little Hitler of London“ has proven to be even more stupid than the German Motorists Association.
The origins of the Polish misery lie in its geographical situation as a buffer between two empires, which had been brought about by the medieval crusader colonialism. When that tendency sought its assumed “New Jerusalem” in the thinly-populated wetland areas, it left even crasser environmental damage than the Saddam regime did in the Euphrates & Tigris river mouth in the 20th century. Ever since the Northern Swamps became the Northern Plains, the territory has been in a precarious position, whose entire absurdity is maybe best expressed in the Ribbentrop-Molotov deal of 1939 in which it was a mere bargaining chip for the two sides to deceive each other as opening moves of their next fight.
After its post-war liberation by the Soviets it enjoyed the empathy of progressive movements, until a relapse into treason led into one of the worst instances of collaboration in the North American war crimes of the “Guantanamo” type against which even the Egyptian case seems quite limited. The Poland of these days has once again become a colony, yet this time not directly to the territorial neighbour but to the external empire that inherited the Nazis. The North American imperialism is surging there to compensate for its own expectation of being thrown out of the neighbourhood. Since an imperialist aircraft carrier on the European landmass is not a sustainable scenario, it would be very unfortunate for Poland once the Americans are gone, which they will once the neighbours close their military aircraft corridors. It is also an indication that the military-industrial complex is incapable to restrain itself and the only option it leaves to anyone interested to survive it is to dismantle it entirely.
The complete absurdity of the development is enshrined in the grotesque statements of these politicians who said the Russian takeover of Crimea was against international law – actually it is legal according to the treaty framework that replaced the 1939 deal. As long as the Tehran, Yalta and Potsdam treaties constituting the basic post-WWII framework remain in unfinished condition, it is either legitimate or illegitimate for all of the involved to occupy any spot of Europe by means of military deployment, but there can be no distinction between the Eastern and the Western side. If anyone wants it to become definitely illegal they must either ratify the documents or challenge them. And there is a possibility of significant challenge, since they are based on a flawed concept of “democracy” that ought to be replaced with the “Quadruple-A” combination of Abolition, Antifascism, Anticapitalism and Anarchy. But no such move has been observed and it remains unclear what would be missing to make the so obviously necessary finally happen after so much unnecessary delay.
Like it was Hitler´s terminal mistake to go after Russia before having taken Britain, the fatal error of the famous Polish-American spy hunter Theodore Kaczynski, who fought the evil apparatus alone before the general public even became aware of the problem, was to denounce the progressive movements before taking on the conservatives. And that aberration is iconic for the Polish misery, not just because it favours the log in the own eye over the specks in these of others, but also because it befell even the most euphoric minds of a culture which had drastically reduced its mortality rates during the period of the Soviet calm. How alienated Poland had become from its own history was already drastically visualised a number of years ago when a Polish politician produced a plane crash by attempting to micromanage its subordinates. Not only did they all die from the inertia of state power, but the entire situation was so instructive that all over Europe the airspace was closed for some days to avoid more unresolved crashes from volcanic ash clouds that had just appeared, although the Polish one had no such natural cause.
In the ensuing silence, it could be memorised that the incident in the incident, the reason why the Polish politicians went on their last trip, was related to the latest wave of trans-Polish imperialist battle in the aftermath of the 1939 treaty. After the British naval blockade against the liberation movement empowered fascists in Spain, the scandalous blackmailing of Czech, the improper annexation of Austria, Stalin who had failed to sufficiently counter these concluded that another instance of covert fascist takeover in Europe could not be tolerated, went into the Poland bargain with Hitler and forced him to carry his intentions into the open, resulting in the known events of WWII that wrenched the West from its appeasement sleep, and on the Soviet side, a preemptive execution of expected collaborators in Poland and its Eastern neighbours which included the entire leadership of the military. As a result, Hitler could not use Poland as a weapon against Russia, and the Germans became busy in the East at the expense of their conquests in the West. When Poland was rebuilding after WWII, it was therefore in a relatively better position than its Western neighbour, because nothing of the corrupt oligarchies had remained, while of the German Nazis that survived the war only a few were executed in show trials while most continued below public awareness.
But the figures that came to power in Poland after 1990 are still resenting that action, and out of this resentment and the distractions it creates came the plane crash and in blowback to it the heavenly silence. In its essence, the later reactionary regression of Poland dates back to the Vatican coup of 1978 and the handover of the desecrated chair to a Polish candidate lacking any conscious analysis of imperialism. As the leaks out of the short life of its slain predecessor, such as microphones remaining switched on when loudspeakers were turned off, leave no doubt that murder was murder, Woytila´s total failure to establish even his own basic human rights against his closest subordinates not only led to the permanent damage of the institution which even the supremely lenient second chance granted to Ratzinger could not fix, but also to a reactionary astroturfing campaign within the territory that formed a parasitic existence on the Islamic advance in the Afghan-Soviet war and implanted the animalistic behaviour into Polands political culture that finally resulted in the preventable place crash of 2010.
Scientifically, what happened to that country should be taken as a proof of absolutist nature, taking the place of the 19th century Papal claim of ideological infallibility, that the treacherous microphones around Woytila and any- and everything resulting from them were fundamentally incompatible with the basic necessities of human life, causing what can be termed a fatal stalemate of social progress. And yet this dire situation of helplessness against external spying, which prompted Kaczynski to his explosive warnings, leaves an an even worse imagination what might have happened to Europe had not Stalin preempted Hitler in Poland. Recently this has been in synergy with another scientific proof, namely that the current regime in Germany willingly and knowingly betrays the population to American occupier. This has already become undeniable when Berlin dropped its alleged anti-militarist rhetoric against the imperialist assault against Libya without an explanation, and also caused the recent German militarist rhetoric in Warsaw.
That bizarre constellation of territorial rivals is why the title speaks of a Nazi client state, not just another imperialist one, because through the carrier of imperialism a continuity of the first wave of fascism in the 20th century was brought about. When recently all the progressive movements walked out of the Warsaw climate conference, it underlined the fact that the entire Western diplomacy of the late 20th and early 21th centuries collapsed due to its failure to remove all traces of the flawed policy of containment and replace it with something entirely new rather than just putting additional constructs on top of the diplomatic quicksand. And what Poland is to expect from its treacherous Western neighbour there can be no doubt about, as the German judiciary ridicules itself with an obsession about celebrities that have done nothing wrong which could not be fixed with a stroke of a pen, rather than going after the ex-president who only thanks to Fukushima fell over his blatant attempt to betray the atomic abstention efforts to his accomplices in the industry, and without the Japanese meltdown might have caused many more dead than just that.
It can be termed another instance of “Al Capone effect” - if a judiciary is arguing with merely formal pretexts in an uphill battle then it is more likely to fail as when it names the issues, because hierarchies are only used to downhill fights. When uphill struggles require stringent configurations, states are seldom capable to adapt, with the Soviet role in WWII being a rare exception with crass side effects. In the hindsight, the execution of the military leadership was justified by its effects for all of Europe, although Stalin and his heirs failed as teachers when the question how many divisions has the pope turned from a theoretical into a practical one. The conscious choice against the military leadership and the fact of its execution being justified by the later course of history itself rather than its own explanation are a characteristic ingredient of the Polish desertification experience that can be generalised for many contemporary constellations.
For a lot of places, including its Western neighbour and their imperialist patron, today the execution of this toxic ingredient of society is the only way to ever come back to a normal life that is not besieged by treason. Nothing could be further off the mark than the pathetic assertion this consequential death toll of speculative imperialism was merely for the satisfaction of the oppressed – in fact it is the absolutely necessary precondition for the definitive end of an oppressive system which has blocked all other ways to that goal. Once a military has attempted to make itself the owner of the society that owns it, it can only be left to death, and so be it. The case of Poland is especially instructive because in that instance it was not killed in battle but executed before.
In the low-intensity-long-duration battles of the present, the insight that this is the cancer that must be cut out is of much more weight to accelerate the end of the oppressive system than in the past. The current situation of Europe and North America, and this is the deeper reason that has caused the military provocation in Poland, is that there is a limited and expendable but also powerful and unscrupulous group which by the law of cause and consequence is already dead but since technological progress yet precedes social progress technically still alive, and it is not some religious or ethnic minority but the military and its civilian accomplices whose existence must make way for freedom.
“Stalin come and save us” would be a too simplistic answer, as Russia is busy enough with saving a tiny region next to itself. But all over Europe and its cultural offspring, the fact that only the permanent removal of all current deciders that have brought about the spying can save the future should be talked about as openly as any other grave diagnosis, not only for the cause of its own survival as a whole but also as an example for other cultures suffering the same form of exploitation. If the European and North American regimes do not completely abstain from spying against the people then they shall die from it, and better sooner than later. The implementation thereof should be frankly talked by everyone, as there is only one sequence of such efforts that can lead to the intended results, and these fearing them are already attempting to deceive over it. While the Polish case was an exception, way ahead of time, which found its mirror in the psyche of the place´s intellectuals, to achieve the abolition of fascist imperialism which is the defining cause of this interesting time, it has to happen nearly everywhere, but in the imperialist centres first, as the undesirable outcome of a wrong order of things can be seen in the Libyan situation, where the regime should only have been toppled after the liberation of Europe.
