SHAC to disband and reform as United Animal Alliance, you can be involved !

Until all are free | 27.01.2014 17:04 | SHAC | Animal Liberation

There will be very soon an announcement concerning the future of both SHAC and the wider animal rights movement in the UK

While SHAC has had considerable success and has inspired a generation of individuals to become involved in the animal rights movement we recognise the last few years have been extremely tough.

The excessive, vicious and disproportionate policing that SHAC and it's supporters have faced says much about the success and support we had built We intend to convert that support into a new group focused on not just the HLS prison camp and torture centre but the wider issues around animal rights and Vegansim in the world.

We are calling this organisation the United Animal Alliance. This has been a difficult decision and to be fair not all involved with SHAC have agreed with this but we the majority feel it is the best way to move forward and reinvigorate the fights.

Please keep an eye on the SHAC website where exciting details will be posted about how you can get involved.

This new group is in no way a replacement for SHAC which remains the dominant and most effective AR organisation in the UK. The Alliance is no more than a small group who are looking to change SHAC from focussing on HLS to wider issue around Vegansim and general health.

The SHAC website is controlled by those loyal to SHAC and will not be either closing or making mention of tthis small unimportant splinter group. We urge AR supporters and friends in the UK to ignore them and concentrate on the fight against HLS which we are closer to smashing today then we have ever been.
