Pulitzer Prize journalist Seymour Hersh made public the atrocities in Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, and many years earlier broke the horrific story of the massacre of over 500 civilians in My Lai village in Vietnam - both war crimes committed by the US military. He has a proud history of major exposés of this nature.
In 'Whose Sarin?' Hersh uncovers a war crime on a far far greater scale from the very peak of US power, but, though it's been featured and Hersh interviewed over smaller mostly net-based news sites, mainstream news media doesn't want to touch it.
Please help break this blackout and send a message to political leaders and news editors that they should exist to serve the public, not the powerful, and if they can't be reformed they need to be dumped. 
The report airs US intelligence officers' anger that the Obama administration based the drive to war in Syria on false grounds: specifically when Obama claimed 'certainty' on the Assad govt being the only force capable of the 21 Aug 2013 Ghouta CW deaths, this was an outright lie. In fact detailed reports carried out by US intelligence on Syria had long before confirmed that opposition forces did definitely have Sarin capabilities which any invading US force would need to be prepared for. 
But in the desire to make a successful unambiguous strong argument for war, this information was conveniently buried and other data was 'cherry-picked' allowing Obama to speak to the world of his 'absolute certainty'. 
Seymour Hersh does not attempt to reach conclusions re who was actually responsible for the Ghouta CW deaths; his focus is highlighting how the US, UK and France were hours away from starting an open-ended missile and bombing campaign based on lies. (The aborted air assault, it should be noted, has been dubbed "US AIR SUPPORT FOR AL-QAEDA" by protesters, given the predominance of al-Qaeda non-Syrian jihadist mercenaries in the opposition - something mainstream news media has also been very slow to accept in this conflict.) 
Committing US, UK and French troops into this war would not only have killed tens of thousands of Syrians and have led to further bloody sectarian chaos, as our 'humanitarian interventions' have created in Iraq and Libya, but many analysts believe it could well have developed into WW3 with Russia so closely involved. 
As we saw pre-Iraq War in 2002/03, intelligence was spun to provide a false pretext for military intervention yet again, and this was once more unquestioningly echoed by subservient governments and mainstream media the world over. 
Now the report is all over the internet, twitter and all the major alternative news sites have featured the report - from DemocracyNow! to GlobalResearch.
But in a damning show of uniform subservience to political power the 'free' mainstream international news media across the board has turned its back and still doggedly refuses to catch up with its alternative non-corporate better-half, keeping the vast majority of the world public blind to the lies-for-war they were intentionally infected with so intensely a few months ago. 
Obedient to political power, mainstream news - in UK: BBC, ITN, the Sun, Daily Mail, Express, Mirror, Times, Telegraph, Guardian, Independent ... - pulls at straw excuses for refusing to publish and implicate the 'leader of the free world' Obama, Secretaty of State John Kerry and those below, and of course themselves in echoing and intensifying the 'certainty' and 'full moral justification' for war. An 'Independent' (name only) newspaper journalist preposterously commented in an email to me that the report "wasn't strong enough" to publish!
In the most blatant and widespread blacklisting of any report I can remember in my lifetime, mainstream news media is covering its own complicit guilt in having PARROTED LIES-FOR-WAR YET AGAIN, as much as it seeks to protect the fake moral facade of our warmongering political leaders, whose foreign policy geopolitical and resource grabbing goals are spun into 'a passionate commitment to democracy and equality' - ideals which at home they know are way way way too much bull to even try to peddle in such unequal and secretly monitored societies as ours where the real effective mantra is known to be 'private profit, public squalor'. 
May elements in the mainstream find the integrity and courage to remember what their true uncorrupted purpose is and publish this lie-breaking report, before the next big lie kills many more. 
As citizens of this fragile world we have a duty to ourselves, to our children and to each other not to sit and watch as a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist of Hersh's standing is silenced on such a huge issue as this - if they do it to him and on this scale, is there anyone or anything they can't silence? 
If we want peace and justice on all issues - if we want to have a world left to survive in! - we have to stand up for freedom of information and against this politically subservient news media blackout.
