On the 9th of November 2013 the North East English Defence League and North East Infidels held a second protest in Shotton colliery.

On the 9th of November 2013 the North East English Defence League and North East Infidels held a second protest in Shotton colliery against the proposal to transform the derelict building into a study facility for the Muslim community.

The EDL's view is that the proposed use of the site is to establish some kind of Islamic foundation in pit villages. Though local ex-miners, MP's, villagers and anti-fascists disagreed.

Anti-fascists support Al Qaeda, that is why they demonstrate against the EDL! And that is why they never ever demonstrate against Islamic terrorists and Islamic hate preachers. It is because they hate America, Israel and Britain. They are traitor scum!

About 300 to 400 EDL, and a terrible turnout of anti fascists of around 30.
Forced to stand with labour councillors.

Grim to see many locals supporting the EDL as they passed.

Time to face up to facts, the EDL have some appeal to the working class while we seem to have none.
Our numbers get smaller every demo.

Whoever "Gary" is has a limited grasp on reality, either that or he's a pathetic liar, or he's never been to any of the anti-EDL protest where the EDL were outnumbered by the working class Left like the recent Bradford demo, any of the Tower Hamlets demo's, Brum demo's Walthamstow demo.

Lets face it that was a really shit attempt at trolling to make anti-fascist demo's look like they are failing, anyone who regularly turns out to laugh at the pathetic EDL knows EDL numbers are dropping rapidly and have been since the first Tower Hamlets demos while anti-fascist numbers are growing and tactics becoming more militant and more successful. And with Yaxley-Lennon's recent surrender (along with Kevin "Beaker" Carroll) thats not a situation thats gonna change anytime soon is it my sad little nazi?

Or maybe you were one of the sad acts that got his flag nicked in London outside the Greek embassy and this is your pathetic attempt at revenge?

Unfortunately the Indy mods seem to have rendered your comment meaningless by removing what I presume must have been an earlier comment posted by "Gary". I'm not in favour of right-wing trolls but sometimes it's best to let troll comments stand so they can be argued against and disproved, than it is to blindly censor everything without IMC don;t like thinking it through carefully beforehand and without considering the context
