action will include: a strike and closure of restaurants and businesses;
press conference; lantern and balloon ceremony’

Will all the illegal sweatshop and restaurant workers receive full strike pay during this "strike" - from their trade unions? This must be the first ever "strike" in favour of Victorian practices. Are the Chinese rent boys also downing tools?

A message to the "No Borders" crowd

Granted the Nazis do need to be deported to "ze darkside ov ze moon", but any organisation or even loose affinity group calling themselves "No Borders" comes across as basically a bunch of over-idealistic student-union fantasists who maybe even want to help the far-right by associating anti-racism with such an ill thought-out slogan? Britain has borders by virtue of being an island nation, it's simple! Deal with it! Devise campaigning strategies that address that fact as an absolute reality of physical geography and don't use banners and slogans that risk RAISING fears in communities who (rightly or wrongly) feel they're being overlooked in the provision of public services and/or undercut by migrant labour etc

I spent alot of time with Asians in West London and Middx, and IMHO going to working class communities like Feltham and spouting about No Borders is even going to go down like a cup of cold sick in sections of the Asian community
