Taking on the arms trade in Bristol

CAAT | 16.10.2013 10:36

5pm on Sunday 20th October at Kebele Community Co-operative, 14 Robertson Road, Easton, Bristol, BS5 6JY.

Come along and help us take a stand!

The Ministry of Defence makes its buying decisions in Bristol so arms companies surround it too. The weapons and components made in our city fuel death and destruction around the world.

This means we can also have a huge impact. Our protest at a drones conference in Bristol last year meant that a conference in Bath the following month was cancelled. We can take action in solidarity with people who face the weapons made and sold here. We can challenge and impede the arms industry's business.

Come along to an informal meeting on Sunday 20th October to find out more, meet others and plot some action. Hear from people involved in Bristol Against Arms Trade, and from Campaign Against Arms Trade too. Bring the things you're interested in and we can build links between our campaigns. Then we can have some great food at Kebele afterwards too!

We hope you can make it! Any questions, please email  annemarie@caat.org.uk

Every bomb that is dropped, every bullet that is fired, has to be made somewhere. And wherever that is, it can be resisted.
