Reports are surfacing this morning which state that the leader of the ultra right wing EDL has died
It is understood that Robinson and at least two of his associates were driving through the Soho area of London's West End where they were subjected to an illegal road block.

EDL leader Tommy Robinson lies face down in the middle of the road.
A number of cars prevented the occupants from leaving the area, and after only a few moments the occupants from one of the vehicles opened fire at the car which Robinson was travelling in.
Two armed response units who were patrolling the area arrived within five minutes of the incident.
3 ambulances and an advanced paramedic vehicle arrived within 7-8 minutes of the police's arrival at the scene.
Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the three men, however their efforts were in vain.
This incident has only unfolded within the previous 20 or so minutes, and information is rapidly unfolding.
