How Rossendales are Scamming the Great British Public

A comment on the tactics adopted by Some Bailiffs enforcing the ludicrous debts being created due to the bedroom tax.
4 September 2013. A letter is delivered by hand to a block of flats. The CCTV shows that it is delivered by a woman.
5 September 2013 - recipient telephones Rossendales to discuss the contents. Suffice to say the Council Tax had already been paid off some time ago.
The charges from Rossendales amounted to £800. Since the whole Council Tax bill had been paid in April, there was never any intention to pay Rossendales a penny.
The Telephone call was put through to a man. He claims to have delivered the letter by hand. So there would be a fee for attending. When asked if he was a crossdresser, he confirmed that he was not. In the strongest of terms. Thus establishing that he was actually lying about delivering the letter.
On further investigation it turned out that the Rossendales collections papers were commissioned the day before the Council went before the beak, so to speak. So, from a procedural view they were not valid.
On being told there was no intention to pay Rossendales a penny and that the bill had already been discharged, there was a large amount of abuse and threats. Who knew that Rossendales could "pursue you to the ends of the earth forever and charge you for the privilege" and that "your life will be miserable and you will suffer".
Unfortunately for Rossendales, there now exists several separate recordings of telephone conversations - forwarded to Liverpool City Council - documenting their behaviour.
