The Foundation for a Drug-Free World has launched yet another local campaign in its global crusade to rid the world of harmful drugs.

The Foundation for a Drug-Free World has launched yet another local campaign in its global crusade to rid the world of harmful drugs. This time they have partnered with MundoFox57, the West Palm Beach television station serving the area’s Hispanic community. MundoFox57 is airing the Foundation’s 16 Truth About Drugs public service announcements. These award-winning videos are based on real-life situations and expose the most commonly held myths about drugs.

The purpose of the campaign is to simply provide the facts so that kids and young adults can make their own decision to remain drug-free because they have the facts – all the facts.

The Florida representative for The Foundation for a Drug-Free World, Paola Martinez says of the campaign, “Lives are at stake. We work hard to get this information out. But we could not do it without the help of wonderful organizations like MundoFox57. We truly appreciate what they have done. It is clear to me that they not only try to meet the viewing needs of their public but they also have the level of responsibility to help that same public live better lives. We have to join together to do this and when we really do, we will make this a drug-free world.”

The series of PSAs can also be ordered on DVD for replay in schools, drug awareness information booths or large anti-drug assemblies and events. The DVD and much more free material is available at the Foundation’s website www.drugfreeworld.org.

The Foundation for a Drug Free World is a non-profit organization actively involved in education programs in schools and in the community. The program is primarily addressed to youth.

And for the person with a drug problem, there are real solutions to addiction. Narconon, a drug rehabilitation program that utilizes the methods of L. Ron Hubbard, has a success rate of more than 75% (www.narconon.org). The best solution, however, is not to begin using drugs in the first place.
