The Story of the Regime

Eternal Anarchist | 22.06.2013 13:59 | Social Struggles | World

Before the revolution there was famine, massacre and death
Avoidable suffering, forced austerity and the regime
And there were people who could not forget
That most of its lifetime
Humanity lived without these scourges
But other people could not remember
Because most of their lifetime
It did not occur to them.

The regime spoke: I am there
To steal your world, abuse your life and kill your spirit
And I am going to rename it into saving all of the above
By brute force
And for no other purpose
Than wasting them
Because I have no other purpose
That did not occur to you.

The people spoke: We want
The most aware of us to speak against this
Humanity gasped
Made sure the regime was unaware of its whereabouts
Took a deep breath
And spoke: I chose
To speak through someone who would
Give it a benefit of the doubt.

Someone spoke: It is
True what is being expected from me
I wanted to assume that the regime could be a form of intelligent life
Capable to face the truth about itself
But when I told it that it is going to end
It turned against its fatherly friend
For no other purpose
Than already mentioned.

The people spoke: We see
That the benefit of the doubt is spent
But the regime not yet
And neither are famine, massacre and death
Someone said the truth
It is a threat against humanity
We must end the regime
Before it wastes us.

The regime spoke: I have done
Everything for you to do to me what is necessary
By making it impossible to replace me
I made it unavoidable to remove me
I am a suicide attack of lifelong duration
I am the cause of your suffering and misery
I am going to kill you like a malignant parasite
Unless you treat me like one first.

The revolution spoke: We know enough
Of its lies, its threats and its crimes
To come to a conclusion on its existence.
All it takes for a regime to mandate its killing
Is to exonerate itself in the name of these it is turning against
For example if a regime talks in my name
I may take its life
And if it does in yours you can.
