EDL/NWI march in Ashston Saturday

Far right in Ashton Greater Manchester

Tomorrow the far right are marching in Ashton Greater Manchester, in a bid to create racial tension. The NWI this week already turned up and carried out a flash demo in response to a fight between local Whites and local Muslims, which the far right are portraying as being racially motivated. We need as many anti fascists in Ashton tomorrow as possible in order to prevent them gaining support in the area. All anti fascists need to get to Ashton for around eleven o clock Saturday morning. The fascist event is advertised on local EDL facebook pages, and the NWI page and the casuals united blog. stop them now before it`s too late!

Let's just get this into the right perspective shall we it was not a clash between rival white and asian youths to start with it was 4 kids waitng for a bus home 2 boys and 2 girls against a group of around 20 youths 6 of which have been arrested ok even the girls had a good kicking 1 of the lads was hospitalised but thats ok is it the whole event was recorded as well but the press won't show that will they or even print it so because of racial tension my fecking arse people are to scared to stand up to these people who do they think they are !!! as an English minoirty group now we should get our voices heard once again ....Don't be affraid stand up for what you belive in and make your voices heard !!!! I'M ENGLISH AND PROUD OF IT !!

6-7 edl in cuffs or pulled in by the cops and pictured most - police reported 4 arrests. The march had about 100-150 in it, lots of young uns & new faces that could be locals, 3 biker divvies; nwi/nwa/edl/bnp faces there. diddyfiddler was hiding from the limelight for some reason but was snapped. 3-4 firecrackers let off in the direction of itv cameramen. There were 80-100 other patriot types not marching but on the sidelines watching. There were no speeches by edl - cops could not liase with the key ashton leader according to tamside edl.cops said they did not know which way edl planned to leave the protest site then they took the decision to lead them back to the station, pen them and then let them go i dribs and drabs. The 20 or so that came into the station via the tram were from Leeds edl and included the blonde woman gail speights mate who seemed to become a leader of sorts. There were a couple of american flags, the jewish one, nwi some local edl ones but although edl lgbt tommy was there he did not bring his gay pride flag for some reason! Oh there were a number of babies in buggies with silly mothers marching too as well as a couple of blokes that couldnt keep their hands away from their dicks.
