Twitter Outage over anti G8 protests

Any tweets concerning the meeting point of today's Carnival against Capitalism are not showing up on twitter. . .

Despite the recent mass mobilisation of thousands onto the streets of the West End to protest against the G8, London is not and has not been trending on twitter. Neither has #picadillycircus: if you search for this, no recent tweets from the past two days load at all about the Carnival Against Capitalism, despite the LondonG8 Twitter account tweeting about it regularly, among with many others.
