30 EDL outside Old Bailey today - probably there again tomorrow

Approximately 30 EDL were demonstrating outside the Old Bailey today for the sentencing of the men accused of planning to attack an EDL rally in Dewsbury last year. Unfortunately no anti-fascists opposing them.

They were there from their advertised start time of 10am. About 12.00 Tommy'n' Kev showed up to do their pieces to camera. Lots of media coverage for them and as there was no opposition the EDL got to wander around and spread their views to lots of construction workers and office workers on their lunch break. They have currently retired to the Viaduct Tavern opposite the Old Bailey.

The sentencing is two days. So the EDL will most likely be there again tomorrow. Might be nice if someone was there to oppose them tomorrow.

According to  https://twitter.com/CourtNewsUK - "One EDL protestor arrested outside Old Bailey. Contingent booted out of the Viaduct pub by cops."

Even without opposition and when there are barely 30 of them they manage to get arrested / rowdy / drunk.

Photos below were taken about 2.30pm, a little while after the @CourtNewsUK tweet above.

I expect another small group will be back tomorrow - why not let the pub know whether you think they should allow the EDL to use their pub again?

If you or anyone else has photos from yesterday please post them or a link to them. My mates dad ( in his 60s) got on a train in the area yesterday evening to find a group of lads/dregs racially abusing a black women, he intervened and was attacked. He is out of hospital now with a shoulder injury and stitches (if he gives me permission I will post a pic of his injuries). We cannot make it today but would very much like to visit the individuals in question

The post certainly wasn't trolling drooper - the EDL need to be opposed wherever they mobilise.
