On 17 and 18 June the leaders of the G8 are meeting in Northern Ireland. The G8 is a meeting of representatives eight of the world's wealthiest and most powerful states. It is a meeting where these leaders come together to co-ordinate the smooth running of global capitalism and the continuation of business as usual.

What the G8 leaders really stand for is business as usual. Capitalism: a system that kills, exploits, and degrades the many for the profit of a few.

Stop G8 is a network made up of autonomous groups and individuals who have come together to resist the G8 summit, beyond the G8 we plan to exist as a network feeding in to international anticapitalist movements - for more info see  https://network23.org/stopg8/
