The Met Want German Water Cannons

Just to give you a rough idea about the effects those German water cannons can have

The London Metropoliton Police is currently asking the Home Office for funding to buy two German watercannons to crush social unrest they expect to erupt this summer.

There is more to this story than meets the eye, ...obviously.

To give you an idea what effects German watercannons could have on your eyes indeed have a look at this photo of Dietrich Wagner, who got blinded when German police used watercannons against protesters in the city of Stuttgart in 2010.

This is how local police behave under American occupation. And he did not even protest against military imperialism but proposed changes to a local railway. Surely Africans should take a close look at the oppression in its immediate neighbourhood to get an outlook what "United States Africa Command" has in stock for them.

Already training ahead of deployment

The Daily Fail has reported that around 4,000 officers are being trained at Longmoor Army camp in Hampshire so they can work with the Wasserwerfer 9000.

They're using the G8 meeting in Enniskillen as justification for the training, but those skills will then be put to use on the mainland once the Met gets final approval for the purchase (which the government has indicated is likely).

How many times do people have to be told wear protection at demos!

How many times do people have to be told, wear protective clothing at demos like bicycle helmet and goggles etc. Motorbike clothing is excellent protective gear to wear to a demonstration. If anyone has noticed then they will see that the press always wear skate board helmets to demonstrations. These offer great protection against truncheon blows. Padded motorbike clothing offers protection to the body from truncheon blows and some protection from plastic bullets.
