Bumblebees pollinate clover...

19.04.2013 23:52

Clover is a legume, meaning it transfers Nitrogen from the air to the soil. Fewer bumblebees, like the one in the photo, will result in less clover, and other legumes like field/broad beans. This will result in higher demand for Nitrogen rich fertilizer, like the stuff formally produced in Texas. Companies that produce both insecticides and fertilizer can't lose unless we stop them. So let's stop them.

Bayer annual (AGM) Shareholders meeting . 26:04:13

20.04.2013 20:18

The Coalition against Bayer dangers, (CBGnetwork) monitors the criminal activities of Bayer, they keep us very busy. No time for all the others on your list. Bayer are the main producers of Neo Nicotinoids and they are not too keen to remove from the market.
Friday is the (AGM) Bayer Holders meeting, CBGnetwork has the minimum shares to allow us to take part in the meeting. We have prepared a Counter Motion and will present this at fridays meeting. Please download the CounterMotions PDF (attached). If you read it you'll find that it is a serious document, well thought out and to the point.
A number groups are planning to protest at the meeting, these include German Beekeepers and Greenpeace. I hope that the Indepent media networks, Environmental activists and bloggers will pick up on this event.
