Why the radical left failed

The funeral passed without a hitch despite the empty promises of the left.

Why? Because it was too early in the day

They often talk up things beforehand, I think it is a way of trying to drum up support and swell numbers at these protest things - otherwise very few would turn up. Typically, if it is somekind of party or celebration, the numbers are larger. Mostly young people out for a good time and to meet other people. Its mostly entertainment..... something to do, for them.

You tend to get the hardcore ones on the internet, going on and on about how "this one is going to be bigger than..." or "i swear, The Revolution is just around the f****ing corner."

What revolution i hear you ask? Its a bit like the 2nd coming, a fabled event in the future whereby they will all be magically saved, and how if they behave according to the good book, then the revolution will happen and everything will be ok. God knows what the revolution will be like if it did happen. I imagine like some sci-fi movie where great swaths of the pupulation die and then a rag-tag band of survivors rebuild a community making horse shoes and wicker baskets and going on about how much better things are without phones and cars. But, over time this community will innovate and one day they will have invented mortgages, and cars, and police forces, and power stations, because thats what people want. And on and on it will happen, a big meltdown and then a revolution and then a rebuild. Forever, until we get hit by a big asteroid (well, technically a meteorite) and the whole planet is blown up, at which point we would wish we forgot about horseshoes, and wicker baskets, and instead put our efforts into getting a step into space rather than going on about this flower power routine. Science is where it is at. That requires hard work, not lounging around on a street corner superglueing yourself to a window. No one descovered anything great whilst chained to a gate.

.... on the last couple of dozen EDL demos, in Walthamstow, in Harrow, in Tower Hamlets, outside the Greek Embassy in London, on the "White Pride World Wide" demo in Swansea, in attempting to confront the Margaret Thatcher death party in Trafalgar Square, and in Brighton this Sunday :)

Little fella its Discovered and not descovered. But reference the left doing nothing on the day of the witches funeral i do not recall seeing anything advertised as being organised for that day apart from death party on the saturday. Looks like nothing was planned from the broad left. Nothing terrible. There are more pressing issues to deal with besides wasting time and energy on an old witches funeral.
