Legal action today

Laurence Dubois | 10.04.2013 18:39

The Irish Lawyers Society today served papers in the High Court seeking an injunction to force the British Ministry of Defence to release information concerning the identities of murderers being protected by the British State.

On 6 March 1988, three Irish citizens Danny McCann, Sean Savage and Mairéad Farrell, were murdered in Gibraltar by a British Army execution unit. These three innocent tourists were killed just because they were Irish and so the British occupiers in the North of Ireland could justify a new crackdown on Irish people seeking self determination in their own country.

The British MOD has refused to identify the murders so they can be bought to justice even though their identities are known.

This Court case will force them to reveal their identities and their present whereabouts so they can be visited by those seeking a citizens arrest.

Operation Flavius

10.04.2013 18:54

Operation Flavius was the name given to an operation by a Special Air Service (SAS) team in Gibraltar on 6 March 1988 tasked to prevent a Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) bomb attack. The IRA Active Service Unit's (ASU) members, Danny McCann, Seán Savage and Mairéad Farrell, conspired to detonate a car bomb where a military band assembled for the weekly changing of the guard at the governor’s residence.
