Death Party is shameful activism
Not Thatcher | 09.04.2013 10:46 | World
The death parties that have occured across Britain at the news of Maggie Thatcher's death are shameful, and appeal to the lowest and basest human instinct. During the Thatcher years I supported the miners, opposed privitization, marched against student loans, campaigned against the closure of the Scottish steel industry in Ravenscraig, and campaigned against the poll tax. Much as I loathed her policies, I would never celebrate her death.
When she died she was a frail elderly women suffering from dementia. It is shameful to celebrate, and the revellers that celebrate are not my brothers or sisters. I would never march with such people, or stand with them on any issue.
As for George Galloway, this man cannot critise anybody. He once smoked a long cigar with the insane murdering sons of Saddam Hussain. What kind of strange person praises Saddam Hussain?
As for those @@@@s and c***s#####s celebrating Thatcher's death, do something useful like @@@@ off.

The shameful revision of history bring trumpeted by the papers and politicos of all parties is far more offensive than a party. And anyway, it's a fitting tribute to the most divisive politician in British history that some should celebrate whilst others mourn. She made her bed - now, finally, she's lying in it.
Celebrate the demise of Thatcherism.

Moralising with spit.

Yes, I agree. To celebrate the death of any human being is a depraved thing to do, no civilised person would celebrate death for any reason.
Here is a video of the civilised Hillary Clinton doing exactly that!

The same strange type of person that continues to work tirelessly to keep Thatchers legacy alive and well by framing all morality between the difference of "left" and "right".
I'm afraid you will just have to shove it. No offence.

Are you the same person who keeps moralising about people who make fun of the hypocrisy of Fascists? Obviously we've got to draw the line somewhere but some of the nit-picking that appears on Indymedia is just silly. If I call Thatcher "stupid" is that prejudicial against people who (through no fault of their own) have a low IQ? Language is flexible enough to communicate different meanings in different contexts but some (probably just one) of the people using Indymedia seems to think THEIR own interpretation of words and symbols is the only one that can ever be right.
Adapt yourself to popular culture and learn to disentangle the subtleties of what people say and what people a actually mean.... more importantly, get used to a world in which anger exists

Mark Thatcher was a wannabe killer
09.04.2013 13:12
Especially in context of his mother's hostility to the Anti-Apartheid movement, Mark's willingness to kill is also part of the legacy of Thatcherism - and his reason for plotting to kill Africans was to help multinational corporations get their hands of Equatorial Guinea's enormous oil and gas reserves

Naturally Mark Thatcher escaped justice, by virtue of being well-connected and very rich

..who still hadn't apologised for any of her crimes against humanity. If she had then, hey, anyone deserves a second chance. But she didn't. So why should we feel sorry for her?
