HacktionLab are pleased to announce that BarnCamp is back in 2013 on the 7th, 8th and 9th of June. Camping for up to four nights high up in the Wye Valley on an organic farm co-operative with food included for £35 (£32 in advance, and concessions also available on asking).
There are workshops galore covering both on-line and off-line alternative technologies, from aquaponics to making your own solar panels; from best uses of blogging to cryptography for beginners. On top of this we have open space sessions, where you can suggest the themes that interest you and discuss them with others, a film night, a party night, and an organic cider bar and camp fires every night. There will be something for everyone, including the opportunity to hang out in a beautiful place and meet some great people.
In light of the planned mobilisations in the run up to the G8 summit, BarnCamp will take place a weekend earlier this year and we hope that this will give people a chance to be involved in both. If you are planning to be active in demonstrations the week after, why not a lovely weekend in the coutry being inspired beforehand?
