This is exactly what these benefit changes have been designed to facilitate. Basically the Conservative government have given housing authorities the motivation to change the tenancy agreements that people have in order to fabricate and engineer higher profits for the councils coffers. What council would go against such a delightful ploy given that it means plenty of dirty luca for all concerned?

I suppose this will end in rioting and the sweeping into government of the triumphant Labour party which will be the only thing that will shut people up. Then the Cons, the Labour and the Dems will all be able to sleep just a little bit more safely in their beds knowing that everybody has been shut up and they can all dip their fingers into the public purse for a few more years.

You know, the thing they fear most of all is the axe falling on the party political system in Parliament itself.

There is only one government in the UK, the government of Parliament. The political parties are just Parliaments jobsworths paid from the public purse and all doing very nicely thank you.

Lets not be driven into hatred of the Tory by Labour party activists just so the Labour party can take power just to do exactly the same thing but under the red flag.
