Jane Goodall found that chimpanzees dominate with terrifying ferociousness. They intimidate by stamping their feet and charge with huge branches. Anthropologists have published similar hierarchy commitment in tribes. Psychologists have recently begun investigating human dominance. In his psych lab, he researched people playing a rigged game of Monopoly. He showed that winners feel entitled to their assets and see losers as lower ranking stupidity. Winners will not attribute their assets to the rigging of the Monopoly game.
