E.ON lobbied for stiff sentences against Kingsnorth activists, papers show

M | 19.02.2013 23:43 | Ecology | Policing | Repression

E.ON secretly used the threat of lower investment to bribe government to push for long sentences for climate activists.

But obviously no-one in power thinks this is illegal, or even untoward, as nothing has been done about it, nor is anything likely to be done. So it means that this deliberate corruption of the system of law is ok, so we can expect more dirty deals behind closed doors when people use their democratic rights to protest.

This filthy system is corrupt from top to bottom.

EDF too - they are all the same

Today's story is that the collusion between the police and EDF (the French government) has extended to the police being gophers for EDF, who are trying to steal £5 million from the fine upstanding citizens who disrupted operations at West Burton.

Hopefully EDF and the police will get even more egg on their faces as this goes the way of McLibel, the rapist Kennedy's attack on the Ratcliffe campaigners and what looks to be the same thing for the Drax train campaigners.
