What's the Bevy plan?
To create a place to eat, meet, drink, study and relax in the heart of our community! Plans include a pub / cafe, community kitchen, play areas and vegetable gardens. The pub is ideally located between Bevendean, Moulsecoomb and Bates estate.
We all love the Bevy.

Matt Taylor, prospective parliamentary candidate for Brighton Kemptown, has shown his support for “The Bevy” Community Pub in Moulsecoomb by buying shares and delivering leaflets to help campaigners reach their fundraising total.
Matt said: “I know the Bevy Community Pub will open because I have seen the enthusium of the supporters first hand. The Mouslecoomb and Bevendean communities will have a community hub which offers a locally brewed beer, with good food and a place to come together and learn from each other. Its a wonderful project which I'm personally involved with.”
Matt, campaigning to become an MP is scathing of Simon Kirby added: “If he's happy to assist the Bevy Community Pub campaign group and make their dreams a reality, I challenge him to donate the £189,380 the campaign needs. He made £14million when he sold his chain of 28 pubs and he's ripped the tax payer off enough with his expenses and parliamentary partnership with Shipley's MP Philip Davis.”
Matt concluded: “The Bevy Pub is a dream come true for Mouslecoomb and Bevedean. We all love the Bevy. Shares in the pub can be purchased here  http://www.thebevy.co.uk/shares.”
