AIDS in Africa is not the fault of the Catholic church, no matter what your view on religion. Child abuse is the fault of the criminal abusing classes, and not the fault of the Catholic church. If gays have public opinion on their side, how can the Catholic church possibly oppress them? If you dislike the Pope because he has links to German nationalists, then you should pass your objections over to the Jews, they will thank you for it...as they always do.
It really is amazing in this day and age, just how universal the malevolant effect of the MSM is on the so-called "progressive" classes of political activism.
Here on an autonomous site, an island Anarchista, we still see such predictable left-leaning analysis that simply repeats every single prejudice the MSM has been engaged with in its crazed efforts to blame the rest of the world for its own political orders failings.
This analysis really is piss poor and horribly "western-centric".
This isn't a criticism of the writer, or the blog that it comes from, just a criticism of what is horribly predictable and of no material use.
Please try to understand what is ACTUALLY happening here.
The Pope isn't important, but the person replacing him IS.
