Protestors who are trying to stop hundreds of trees being chopped down in a park in Manchester have started tying themselves to the branches.

Manchester city council's served an eviction notice on the campaigners in Alexandra Park - but they're still refusing to leave. Our reporter Sarah Roger went to find out more: http://vimeo.com/59081915

should have been thousands down there stopping the fuckers killing the trees. Should have made the cowards run, smashed their machinery.. but no, sadly this country is full of obedient, brainwashed morons...very sad, where's the anger???

Within nearly a month 554 trees felled at Combe Haven Valley and if Mad Chester Council has its way,400 trees.Nearly 1,000 trees lost,that's one big carbon sink used up!
And the community of life that lives on trees,don't think the council and its chainsaw crew would like it if we smashed up their homes.
Birds,insects..which are crucial to bio-diversity on earth gone.
Want to help put back trees..Trees For Life Scotland and The Woodland Trust..are good starting points!
