People are poor when they can not trade. It's governments that control trade and decide who is allowed to with who, not capitalism. Capitalism is just people trying to swap what they can make for what they need. The private banks are not really private, they are part of the government. Privatisation isn't about real free trade, it's about government privilege. The government creates problems, calls it "free trade", so everyone says we need more government and less real freedom.
