Pledger dies

Susanne Dow, who was an Oxford pledger in opposition to the war on Iraq, committed suicide a few days ago in Nottingham where she was a lecturer. The stress and threats from drug addict neighbours pushed her to suicide.

So it turns out Suzanne actually died over a year ago, in October 2011, but that the inquest was only held recently, hence why it's in the papers now, and why some of us that knew her in Oxford (but weren't close enough to hear about it at the time) are only just hearing about it now.
Yikes. Bit of a shock.
So the original article is wrong when it says that she died in the last few days, but that doesn't mean that it is deliberate misinformation. I think it's more likely Paul simply misread the news articles that came out recently about the inquest, and made a mistake with that detail.
