Letter with 52 signatories including artists and activists also denounces US and EU 'complicity' through weapons sales ..... A group of Nobel peace prize-winners, prominent artists and activists have issued a call for an international military boycott of Israel following its assault on the Gaza Strip this month. The letter also denounces the US, EU and several developing countries for what it describes as their "complicity" through weapons sales and other military support in the attack that killed 160 Palestinians, many of them civilians, including about 35 children.


The 52 signatories include the Nobel peace laureates Mairead Maguire and Adolfo Pérez Esquivel; the film directors Mike Leigh and Ken Loach; the author Alice Walker; the US academic Noam Chomsky; Roger Waters of Pink Floyd; and Stéphane Hessel, a former French diplomat and Holocaust survivor who was co-author of the universal declaration of human rights. ........ more .......  http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/nov/28/nobel-laureates-call-israel-boycott

That's great news, I assume these same 52 signatories will be writing similar letters covering -

The surpression of human rights in Iran during the last election
The uprising in Syria
The revolution in Bharain
The growing women's movement in Saudi Arabia
The student protests in Kuwait
The fight against government corruption in Yemen that has resulted in over 60 recent deaths
The death without trial process that seen over 15 young men killed in Gaza in the past two years after acusations by Hamas they are Israeli spies


After all if they just chose to become involved in Middle East problems when Jews were involved some people might question their motives.
