The low-down...
The deadline for the consultation ends Noon on Friday 21st December 2012.
The proposal for the solar panel farm is to construct 4,166 solar voltaic panels in rows totaling five miles in length,on a 143 acre site with landscaping.
It will be constructed by renewable energy firm IB Vogts.
There will be greenspace for recreational use.
