Birmingham Demo against BBC Corporation's biased Gaza reporting

Stalingrad O'Neill | 23.11.2012 03:28 | Birmingham

"Die In" held outside Birmingham's BBC Mailbox studio in order to highlight the appalling and biased reporting of the recent genocidal massacre of Palestinians in Gaza

Enough people braved the heavy downpour to attend a demo outside Birmingham's BBC Mailbox studio in order to highlight the appalling and biased reporting of the recent genocidal massacre of Palestinian in Gaza by that Corporation, and to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestinians resistance in Gaza against the apartheid Zionist regime bombings and blockade
Despite the small number and peaceful nature of the demo, large groups of the usual suspects, could be found, lurking round the corners of the Mailbox complex

You think the BBC has an anti Palestinian bias ? Of all the major European broadcasters the BBC is without a shadow of doubt the most pro Palestinian of them all. Where I grew up in France the coverage was almost 100% pro Israeli and it is the same in Germany.

In Israel the BBC is viewed as the media arm of Hamas and BBC World journalists have a great deal of trouble getting accreditation.

The BBC proudly promoted the use of torture.

23.11.2012 19:02

After 9/11, 2001, one of Tony Blair's major projects was to re-introduce OVERT torture as a method used by the state against its 'enemies'. Now, we are not naive, and we all know that torture has never gone away, but for more than one hundred years, torture had become a COVERT method by the West- widely practised, but always officially denied.

The BBC spearheaded the project to make torture acceptable. For more than one year, on just about every type of program, both on radio and TV, the BBC created propaganda scenarios discussing and justifying torture. The public were constantly told that torture was the ONLY means to stop another 9/11.

We do not have to ask what the BBC hoped to gain, when we can consult History instead. The major tragedy of WW2 was the successful conversion of one of History's most sophisticated and humane societies into one of history's most murderous and inhumane. The rise of the Nazis was actually the rise of modern mass media propaganda techniques used to reprogram the moral position of entire populations.

Of course, we have endless examples of just how blatant and depraved BBC propaganda techniques can be. Most here will remember the miners' strike, and the time the BBC faked images of the miners attacking the police, when actually it happened the other way round. Years later, and you had MI6 agent Rageh Omar broadcasting on the BBC about how the whole of Baghdad had come out to cheer the destruction of the statute of Saddam Hussein. Of course, the whole thing was a fake stunt carried out by American military intelligence in co-operation with the BBC.

More recently, the BBC published video of tens of thousands of people protesting against Gaddafi in the major square in Tripoli. The only problem was that the video was fake (notice the pattern), showing some unrelated event that occurred in India. The BBC simply assumed its viewers to be morons that would take their word at face value, and have no ability to see that the people on the screen were clearly not Libyans.

Today, the BBC will proudly tell you that far more children need to be taken into care (the likelihood of a child being abused, and having a terrible life as an adult, massively increases for children in care). Today, the BBC will tell you that the poorest in society are work-shy scroungers that will only respond to large doses of the 'stick'. Today, the BBC will tell you that the elite in society need more money, more power, and freedom from all legal penalties.

The 'Jimmy Saville' story shows that the BBC neither hides its agenda, nor fears punishment for its crimes.

To counter Nazis-fascist Imperialist led Wars of Aggression.

24.11.2012 07:32

The U.s. Judge Jackson who chaired the Nuremberg Trials (1945-46) who wrote into International Law that the planning and doing of Aggressive War is the Supreme Internatiional Crime on the planet Earth, as it actuates all other crimes high, low, big or small. He further says that that it is the Supreme International Crime whether Germany does it or the U.S.A. does it. That is the world law about war. The U.S. Constitution is signed on to this Internatiional Treaty amd that make it the Law of the land. Now you can see the present and past regimes since 1946 have been breaking the International Laws on Aggressive war, and the governments have been wholy illegal and ingaged in war crimes around the globe, and inside the U.S.A. Workers of the world untie!! End pollution wars, not endless wars for more and more pollution. You yet have a world to win!!
