How about a mass march on the UKBA head office in Croydon

29.10.2012 11:16

How about us organising a mass march on the UKBA head office in Croydon? We got 150,000 for the TUC anti-cuts demo, so how about organising an anti-UKBA demo? Their central office address is Lunar House, 40 Wellesley Road, Croydon CR9 2BY.

Smash the UKBA

good but..

"WE" didn't get 150,000 out, the TUC did, and if you haven't noticed the PCS have members in the UKBA - conflict of interest?

How about you organise something, then post it on indymedia?

Indymedia is not the place to organise events.

smells fishy

Forget the TUC we have organised massive events before.

29.10.2012 13:43

Forget the TUC we have organised massive events before using nothing more than internet networking and handed out flyers. The massive anti-capitalist Mayday events for example. Thousands turned out on Mayday 2000 and Mayday 2001. And if there was an international callout I am sure we could get even more numbers, remember Seattle November 1999 when 50,000 activists from across the world shut down the WTO conference.
