Friend | 26.10.2012 16:38

Ahmad has been in the UK for nearly three years and has found out this week that he will be deported to Iran despite being in fear of his life.

Ahmad is a popular 35 year old who has not seen his wife and three children since fleeing Iran five years ago. He moved first to France but faced racism, then he moved to Holland but was not made welcome there so three years ago moved to London and has built a life here. In Iran he is wanted for producing a newspaper that was critical of the government and faces charges for it that could lead to 1 six month prison sentence. He is a regular attender at his local Mosque and is known for his love of football. He has met a new woman in London who he hopes will one day be his second wife but that will not happen if he is deported.

Please contact the authorities and offer support to Ahmad
