100,000s expected at TUC march – know your rights

With 100,000s expected to march as part of the TUC mobilisation on Saturday, it is important that people know their rights and what to do in case of arrest.

We recommend that you take a minute to look at our bust card, which can be found in the resources section on the left-hand side of our website or in this post.




Green & Black Cross will also be present on the day, and we recommend you contact them in case of arrest.

Expected by who exactly ? The increasingly desperate attempts to get people to attend this nice safe, A-B march shows just how out of touch the TUC is with the population.

Hundreds of thousands? I doubt it?

I very much doubt that this demonstration will get anything like the number of people at the March 26th 2011 anti-cuts demo got. It will more likely by a few tens of thousands of people this time not hundreds of thousands.
