Nottes Indymedia to close and archive current site

Notts Indymedia Collective | 17.10.2012 10:48

The Notts Indymedia collective has taken the decision to close.

After much soul searching and considering alternative options in great depth Notts Indymedia has taken the very reluctant decision to close the publishing option and archive the current site.

We will add to the Notts site a more detailed breakdown of the thinking behind our decision in due course and would welcome committed individuals contacting who are interested in running the site in the future.

If you wish to contact us or send any feedback on the rest of this farewell message please email us at  imc-notts-contact@lists.indymedia.org

A part of my life is going forever

Sad to see yet another UK Indymedia site closing, I guess Northern and London making their announcements tipped them over the edge.

Am feeling very sad today at what could have been.

Sad

That should read "Notts" not "Nottes"

You really think we would know better by now :-)

See the link here for updates to how the closure of Notts Indymedia will take place

We shut down publishing earlier today but have left the option to add comments to existing posts for the time being to allow updates to a couple of current stories. This facility will be stopped in about a week.

Cheers.
