Oppose the EDL in Walthamstow (and possibly Kings Cross)

Unless of course the Anarchist movement wants to prove it's irrelevant to UK street politics, you'll be needed opposing the EDL in Walthamstow, possibly also Euston / Kings Cross if the EDL muster there earlier in the day

Anarchism 2012...........

The fact that the Anti-Fascist Network will be hosting an event at the Anarchist Bookfair while everyone else in Anti-Fascism will be personally intervening to help wreck what's effectively UK street Fascism's make-or-break demonstration in Walthamstow, says pretty much everything you need to know about the Anti-Fascist Network... will Phil Dickens be speaking about the need for "working-class solidarity in places far away from where the EDL are actually mobilizing"?

given that the AFN meeting is in the morning it is hoped that those present will then be heading to E17.

To be fair the book fair meeting was organised ages before any one knew the edl plans. I am sure I won't be the only anarchist who will be skipping the book fair to be in Walthamstow

yeah, these things take forever to organise. perhaps it may be a good idea to rechedule the AF meet for after folk get back from Walthamstow for a 'post-match analysis' and beer!

To be honest it was booked ages ago and i dont think that anybody involved with AFN (or any / many others) will be calling for people to attend the meeting as opposed to being on the streets.
