Here's the article that Indymedia hid -  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2012/09/500684.html

Here are the images from that article -  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/images/2012/09/500685.jpg

The 2 undercovers in the original article, joined by one other plainclothes black-bloc, can be seen dragging a protestor between 1:03 and 1:08 in the following BBC TV news report (happens very fast), one of the plainclothes is wearing a black scarf / snood over his face as well as wearing a black hoody -

In this final video the same undercover cops can be seen pleading with uniformed riot cops not to beat a downed "protestor" because actually he's another cop -

Agent provocateur

The number of agent provocateur posts on IMC is unbelievable - this pretty much puts the issue in perspective

indymedia would never co-operate with the state or the police, not saying this site is perfect, but state collaberation is not on the agenda

tip: moderation mailing list

30.09.2012 00:47

It probably isn't mentioned prominently enough (it's on the Contact page) but there's a mailing list where article hiding is reported (with reasons given) and discussions take place if any controversy results:
 https://lists.indymedia.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/moderation

In this case the hiding of that article hasn't yet (at the time of writing) been reported to the list, which is unusual, but presumably the moderator who hid it forgot or has been busy.

If anyone is seriously concerned, they could do worse than email that mailing list asking why it was hidden and/or why the hiding hasn't been reported yet to the mailing list.

Until you establish the moderator's reason for hiding it it's all bullshit speculation basically. And the first step is simply to ask.
