London Ambulance Service takes time as man with bleeding head waits outside the Salvation Army on the Whitechapel Road London E1.
The man, a resident at the Booth House, run by the Salvation Army, fell on his back hitting the concrete floor with the back of his head.
The head soon began bleeding.
I was standing yards away watching his tottering movement moments earlier.
Others soon came to him and called the Ambulance.
By then Janet Lees, an assistant manager at Booth Hosue came to the rescue and tended the man.
Many calls later, the London Ambulance Service was still "on the eay".
