In addition to the massive British Embassy presence at Lake Annecy the MoD police are now on the scene. Officers from the Operational Support Unit arrived via an RAF Chinook helicopter that landed nearby according to Sky News sources (Sky is sticking by the restrictions of the D Notice and not publishing this info) They are from RAF Linton-on-Ouse and are likely to be Scene of Crime officers.
This brings to over 30 the British presence at the site all under the command of the Deputy British Ambassador in Paris who arrived yesterday. Journalists from the French newspaper 'Minute' say that their sources confirm that three men likely to be Israeli were flown out of France yesterday via Chambery Airport supposedly to Switzerland.
