Matt Taylor, Police and Crime candidate for Sussex, has promised that if elected, would immediately investigate corruption charges against Sussex MP Simon KIRBY.

He says, ‘Information has been brought to my attention from a number of Sussex residents, which as a prospective Sussex Police and Crime candidate, I am honour bound to investigate.’

Explaining further, ’You only need to type in “Sussex Corruption” into Google and the results point to a multitude of websites which allege Simon Kirby MP is involved in a number of crimes from murder cover-ups to criminal conspiracy.

This is absurd and an inexcusable situation for our MP to be in. I have contacted Simon Kirby on this matter and he assures me these claims have been investigated by a number of agencies and organisations, but doesn’t reveal which. There is only one way to get to the bottom of this and that is by a personal investigation, with the weight and resources of the Police and Crime Commissioner office behind me.’

Matt Taylor, a Brighton resident is standing in the Police and Crime Commissioner elections set for 15th November, as an independent candidate fighting on an anti-corruption platform.

’Whoever is elected as Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner on the 15th November, they must address these issues. The bottom line is that rumours of Sussex Police and local government corruption are rife. As your Police and Crime Commissioner, I will personally investigate these claims to determine exactly what's going on. One way or another, Simon KIRBY will be cleared unconditional, or he’ll end up in jail for a very long time. Both ways, justice will be done and I will demonstrate that as your Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex, NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
