Israel To Attack Iran August 20: Insider Says – Rumours Of War

On 15 August, insider, historian and political scientist Pierre Piccinin tweeted (in French) “Selon mes sources OTAN, Israël attaquerait l’Iran le 20. Le monde se détournerait de la Syrie et le grand massacre pourrait y commencer.”
To anyone who doesn’t speak French, the words “Israel” and “massacre” might stick out, but after translating the whole sentence, something more broadly significant begins to take shape.
Consider the following translation of the first part of that sentence (in English):
“According to my NATO sources, Israel will attack Iran on August 20.”
The second part is equally compelling:
“The world would not be focused on Syria anymore and the big massacre will begin.”
For years (seventeen years to be precise), those paying close attention to the Middle East have been treated with ad nauseam reports of an “imminent” Israeli attack on Iran, but rarely have reports been branded with an exact date like this.
If you go to Pierre Piccinin’s website you will see that this isn’t just another voice in the long chorus of doomsaying bloggers, but a man whose opinion and expertise has been aired on national television around Europe and whose articles have done the rounds in some reputable publications throughout the continent.
Assuming that Mr Piccinin’s sources are accurate and Israel does indeed attack Iran, there will be three simultaneous fronts facing the IDF and NATO forces in the region.
