Government makes threat to storm embassy

16.08.2012 07:18

The government has been making threats that it will revoke the immunity of the embassy using powers under Diplomatic and Consular Premises Act 1987 which will then allow them to raid the embassy and seize Assange:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-19259623

Yet more evidence of the influence dictators in Washington have over UK policy. We must take action to stop this illegal act and block UK police from entering the Ecuadorian embassy. Assange no doubt faces torture and the death penalty if extradited to the US simply for releasing footage and emails which shows the guilt of the US over it's illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
