Arrests after Animal Rights protests, new informer

copwatcher | 09.08.2012 09:56 | Sheffield

Three people were arrested yesterday in connection with alleged offences connected with protests outside Barclays Bank for their funding of animal abusers.

The arrests were the result of information provided by an individual going by the name of "Steve London" who we now understand is a private detective based in Leeds.

"Steve" first appeared on the AR scene about a year ago and has been active ever since then.

There will be a full report with pictures later today but for now we are issuing this as a warning to those who have been involved with him.

The three arrested have all now been bailed and are already home, they have been told they will be charged with criminal damage.
