September 21 2012 is International Peace Day.

To coincide with this wonderful event we are hosting the 2nd annual Yoga for Peace Day. However, this year its grown & is now Yoga for Peace Weekend - the event is over the entire weekend of September 21 - 23 2012!

To launch Yoga for Peace 2012 Bristol City Yoga, 16 Backfields Lane, Bristol BS2 8QW, are hosting a kirtan (devotional singing) evening on
Friday September 21 2012 from 8-10pm. However, please arrive for 7.45pm as we are expecting a high turn out!

The evening will be led by wonderful Bristol kirtan leader, Tim Chalice.

Then on Saturday September 22 2012 its Yoga for Peace Day in Bristol.

We shall be holding a day of yoga asana classes at Yogasara, Picton Street Bristol BS6 5QA.

In the evening, from 6-8pm we shall have kirtan (devotional singing) led by Rachel Srividya Fleming.

The yoga asana class schedule is as follows:

10-11am Shakti Yoga with Carley of Carley Yoga

11.15am -12.15pm Dynamic Flow Yoga with Susie Hartnoll of Integrated Wellness

12.30-1.30pm Mindful Yoga with Katie Stott

1.45-2.45pm Astanga Vinyasa Yoga with Sarah Harlow of Yogasara

3-4pm Yogalates with Maddie Burman

4.15-5.15pm Heart Yoga with Devamurti of The Heart of Tantra

We shall once again be selling bags.

We shall be making origami peace cranes.

And, there wil be chai (supplied by The Thali Cafe) to drink whilst you chat with other peace loving yogis!

We shall also have a photographer, Shaheen Alam, with us throughout the day to record the event! If you prefer not to be photographed, please just let Shaheen know!

On Sunday September 23 2012 Yoga for Peace goes to Exeter.

A day of events shall be taking place at Derek the Dog Yoga Studio, 3rd floor, Queens Walk, 83/84 Queen Street, Exeter, EX4 3RP
.
