"Police Liaison"= soft FIT
Madmink | 28.07.2012 18:12 | Repression
PLOs are intellegence gatherers, as well as there to disrupt/pacify demos. They were allowed to mingle on the Olympic demo. We need to make sure this doesnt happen again
Cops are cops, whatever they call themselves. They will be friendly, lie, be violent, kill people- whatever they think will work for them. Whatever will reduce any demo to a tame event they can control.
Police Liaison Officers, in fluffy pale blue tabards, were conspicuously wandering amongst
the crowd at the Olympic demo today. Talking to everyone they could- except "known extremists"!
A while ago the cops realised Forward Intelligence Teams were provoking conflict instead of suppressing it. So they're now introducing a soft cop version- PLOs. Talk to them and you build yr file!
In Brighton activists met the two faces of the new PLOs when one of them attacked anti-fascist demonstrators enthusiastically with his baton- and another told a UKUncutter she had her pepperspray and was not afraid to use it! Fitwatchers did their best to isolate the newFIT with banners on one Smash EDO demo, and successfully totally excluded them on the Weapons Inspection.
A demo is- or should be -our space.
Cops, whatever they pretend to be, have no place in the middle of them.

You have no right to protest against what this majority want if it is going to disrupt.
Therefore the police are doing their job as they are paid to by the millions of hardworking, upstanding citizens of this country.

the minority does not tell the majority what to do (and there aint anything you can do about it)

Well if that is the case...

Tactics like this are easy to destroy. See Art Of War section XIII (Intelligence and Espionage)

The police represent the wishes of the majority, work for them and are paid by taxes from them.
Your minority is completely independent from the majority, it isn't paid by the tax payers and do not represent them. You work counter to the majority which is the reason that the police (paid by the majority) prevent you doing what the majority do not want you to do (disrupt). Hence - you lose.

Yes. The police destroyed it pretty easily as usual. That's their job - they know their profession unlike you noobs

The police represent the wishes of the judiciary and peripheral legal system.
The majority of the population are ignorant to anything other than what is immediately in front of them. At the end of the day, we all lose due to this fact.
There is no us and them. I pay £1325/month in tax + NI, yet the police and government do not represent my wishes. I've stopped voting as well as I do not wish to be morally responsible or accountable for the people I elect.
Now there's a paradox.
The police ranks are declining and the crime rate isn't. It's only a matter of time.

When i was robbed. The police did their job as per my wishes.
When someone is murdered. The police track down and get the killer
If this isn't your wishes - then you need to take a look in the mirror and wonder what kind of person you are.
> The majority of the population are ignorant to anything other than what is immediately in front of them. At the end of the day, we all lose due to this fact.
So you think you are smarter than everyone else! Lol! Everyone on the planet thinks they are smarter than everyone else.

Wow. Your must be earning a lot. Well done. I pay much less than that. If your wishes are in conflict with the democratic majority - then tough. We use a democratic voting system. Life is a compromise - we have to go with what the majority vote for. That is how voting works. We don't go for what your minority want just because you want it that way. It doesn't work like that.
Don't like it? Well sorry not much we can do about that. Unless you rule the country and have got an army like Saddam Hussein had so you can be a dictator - I think you'll have to go with what the majority want. If that isn't the same as what you want - tough.
> The police ranks are declining and the crime rate isn't. It's only a matter of time.
That's utter Bullshit. The only crime that has risen is theft. But, overall, crime has fallen.
Check statistics - don't just make stuff up - it makes you look silly
