Oakley are launching a high energy Facebook challenge that is starting on the 22nd July, and will be coming to Bristol on the 24th July.

Oakley has chosen six secret locations around the UK – Bristol being one of them – as part of a Treasure Hunt Challenge and hidden exclusive Heritage products for fans to find. In order to locate them, people will have to go to www.facebook.com/oakleyeurope and figure out the clues provided each day! Think it sounds easy? Then why not have a look and try your luck.

As the nation is treated to a wealth of sporting action this summer, Oakley is inviting UK fans to celebrate their 37 year history and take part in their own special nationwide challenge.

Starting on 22nd July 2012, the Treasure Hunt Challenge will mix social media interaction with real-life engagement. This high energy campaign will encourage fans to find and win exclusive Oakley Heritage products hidden in six secret ‘design’ inspired venues around the UK.

Clues will be delivered through a bespoke tab on the Oakley Europe Facebook Page and highlighted on an interactive map. Once the final clue has been revealed, the race will be on to find these heritage prizes. Six Treasure Hunt winners will be entered into a Grand Prize Draw for a money-can’t-buy, once in a lifetime experience to rub shoulders with some of the world’s leading athletes at Oakley’s Safehouse. The Grand Prize winner will also be able to enjoy the Oakley sponsored ‘Designed To Win’ exhibition at London’s Design Museum – showcasing innovative sports equipment and celebrating the ways in which design has helped shaped the world of sport.

Designed to celebrate the history of Oakley, the Treasure Hunt Challenge will expand from the current Timeline activity seen on the Oakley Europe Facebook page. Fans are currently encouraged to post images of themselves wearing some of the best, most outrageous Oakley styles from the past 37 years and take their place in Oakley’s history.
