Police in London and Amsterdam have arrested three people following a long-running, British-led investigation into blackmail connected to militant animal rights groups.
Officers from the Metropolitan police arrested a 50-year-old woman at a home in Croydon, south London on suspicion of conspiracy to blackmail, the force said in a statement. Officers were searching the home as well as a business premises in central London. The woman is in custody at a south London police station.
In Amsterdam, officers from the Dutch national crime squad arrested a woman and a man, both aged 25, under a European arrest warrant. The Dutch officers were searching the home where the two were arrested, as well as a separate business address. The pair are also in custody.
The operation was led by the Metropolitan police's Counter Terrorism Command, and aided by the UK's National Domestic Extremism Unit, as well as the national crime squad in the Netherlands. "The three arrests mark a significant development in a long-running, proactive investigation into alleged criminal activity across Europe," the police statement said.
The pathetic little whores of the metropolitan police force wanting to bang people up for up to fourteen years for sending emails to appease their disgusting masters and the fucks above them. Shame on them all, I can't even call these scums members of the human race.
The animal rights movement has more moles than a nature reserve. Wouldn't be entirely surprised if the number of informants and undercover police officers now outnumbered genuine activists.
Without a radical change in direction and tactics the animal rights movement is absolutely dead in the water it has to be said. Unfortunately the campaigns have failed to keep up with changes in the law and police tactics. Most of those possessing any sort of leadership skills were profiled by the police long ago and taken out of the picture, this has led to the movement largely being fractured and uncoordinated due to a dependency on centralised command structures.
The campaigns need to ditch their rigid hierarchical approach, the police will always be looking to cut off the head to kill the body and so far this tactic has proved incredibly effective. Without key organisers the number of people attending demo's has steadily fallen, the number of reported animal liberation activities has also dramatically dropped, etc. By learning to utilise a more decentralised structure the animal rights movement would suffer less disruption each time arrests are made.
This is mainstream media crap copied directly from police press releases - it is desigend to spread fear, uncertaintly and doubt in our movement. Hide it now.
