Spoken word, Indie rap and stand up from

The Ruby Kid—A hip-hop artist and spoken-word poet influenced by US indie rap (cf Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, WHY?), revolutionary politics (cf Hal Draper, Rosa Luxemburg, Leon Trotsky), and his own self-indulgence and neuroses (cf Woody Allen). Helen Bauer who If not having an off day, is one third London based of comedic Trio HAT, likes sketches and stand-up, doesn’t usually perform in squats., but, Birmingham is on the way to the Edinburgh fringe.

Alice Swift who is kindly taking a night off saving the planet and campaigning against tar sands to support the miners fight!

Richard Higgs, the critically acknowledged stand-up comedian will be saying/doing silly things that a few people will laugh at in preparation for a soul-crushing two weeks at the Edinburgh Fringe.

James Dolton is a 1st year English Language student, writer, trainee alcoholic and performance poet.
